Provost Studio designed a content studio for Yahoo Finance that enhances both the user and viewer experience.

With a focus on user simplicity and viewer experience, the glass-enclosed studio serves as a jewel box, offering audiences a glimpse of the action on the newsroom floor. The project consisted of consolidating five floors of office space with multiple studios into a single floor, effectively minimizing the company’s footprint and reflecting an upward trend in real estate optimization. This transition required thoughtful planning to create flexible zones not only within the studio, but throughout the workplace, in order to diversify Yahoo’s content. The studio itself includes a rotating desk with three positions and varied backgrounds, while the office features three content creation areas each with preset lighting and technology integration for a polished appearance. Embracing Yahoo’s historic purple color scheme was crucial, with lighting capable of shade-shifting.
The end result is a dynamic, efficient, and visually-engaging space that aligns with the evolving needs of the Yahoo Finance team.
