Founded in 2012 by architect and designer Peter Provost, Provost Studio creates award-winning interiors, branded environments, and broadcast studios that intersect the fields of architecture, branding and digital media.
Prior to founding Provost Studio, Peter worked in nationally and internationally recognized architecture firms, experiential marketing agencies and broadcast design practices in New York, London, Pittsburgh and Raleigh-Durham. He designed and planned projects for well known clients such as the Smithsonian Institution, MetLife, Home Depot, Westin, Nokia, LG, CNN, MSNBC, Wired and the New York Times.
Peter was first introduced to the broadcast production industry over twenty years ago as the lead designer for the CNN Broadcast Headquarters project while a Senior Design Director at the Emmy Award-winning broadcast design firm, Jack Morton Worldwide in New York City. While there, he worked with clients to design sets for some of the most watched broadcast television networks and on-air personalities today including: NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, MSNBC World Headquarters and CNN Anderson Cooper 360. As the project design leader, Peter and his creative teams won multiple broadcast design awards that include two Silver BDA Awards, one Gold BDA Award and three Emmy Award nominations for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Scenic Design.

As a creative design leader with twenty years of award- winning broadcast design, project management and scenic fabrication experience, Peter has developed a diverse portfolio of work encompassing the disciplines of scenic design, interiors, branded environments & graphics and architecture.
Trained as an architect and interior designer, Peter was first introduced

For more than 20 years, Brian has helped leaders in the creative industry explore their best ideas and bring them to life. He balances a love of great design with proven project management and construction skills to meet each client’s unique needs. Brian also has a passion for building and guiding effective, highly-collaborative teams. This broad mix of capabilities results in on-time, on-budget projects that delight audiences, designers, and business-minded stakeholders alike.
Brian’s projects reflect his versatility. He has embraced challenges spanning Broadway (Aida, Annie Get Your Gun), network and cable television (NBC, ABC, ESPN), special events (Election Night in Grant Park for President Obama, Garden in the City for the City of Chicago), corporate events (Ford, GM, UPS, Chase), museums (Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum), and architecture/branded environments (Home Depot, Westin Hotel Group/Tishman Hotel).
The common thread running through Brian’s career is his emphasis on partnership and custom solutions. He eschews cookie-cutter solutions, instead assembling the ideal design-build team, working with clients to communicate their story, and translating it into the appropriate level of fabrication quality.
Brian’s leadership is rooted in cutting-edge, practical know-how. He stays current on the latest technical and fabrication skills which position him to creatively tackle the toughest challenges. As a certified Project Management Professional, he is a clear communicator who works smoothly with both clients and designers to shepherd complex projects into reality. Brian holds a New York City Certificate of Fitness in Flame Retardant Supervision and is a qualified agent for general construction.
Brian has worked for some of the most prominent scenic fabrication shops in the United States, supporting a diverse range of high-level collaborators.
